A Message from Suzanne
Greetings! Please allow me to introduce myself; I’m Suzanne Hastings, and as you may have already heard, I’m the new owner of Body Balance. I’m very excited to continue the tradition here at Body Balance in service of all those who practice yoga and mindfulness.
To shed a little light about me, I am originally from Williamsburg but moved away after I graduated from college. After settling in Orlando, Florida where I lived for 25 years, I started practicing yoga and was quickly hooked. With over 20 years of practice and numerous trainings, yoga and other forms of movement are a cornerstone of my daily life.
When my son Jace decided to go away to Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!), it was an ideal time for me to move back to Virginia. Settling in Kingsmill over four years ago, I was grateful to find my yoga home at Body Balance. As a regular practitioner at the studio, I have come to know many of our instructors and members and I truly believe that this is a very special place!
In the near future and while we remain under COVID-19 restrictions, not much will change in the day-to-day operations of the studio. You will notice small changes to the schedule and some exciting new class offerings including Mat Pilates. If you have any questions or thoughts you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out to me at suzanne@bodybalancewilliamsburg.com.
In the spirit of the holiday season, I want to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for your being part of the Body Balance community. If there is anything we at the studio can do to better serve you, I’d love to hear from you. As we move forward into the next phase of our collective journey, I look forward to getting to know you all.
May you be safe and well!
